Honey Ginger Syrup(생강청)-

Ginger is a warming, decongesting herb is beneficial for cold and flus. It is one of top kitchen herb for cold season. Ginger also kills meat odor. This syrup is good for tea and marinate meat. I will post the way to use this syrup after this video. 

Recipe

1. Find fresh gingers at a store. yellow ginger is better than white for syrup. 

2. Sanitize a mason jar before using it. 

3. Clean and soak ginger in water. When you peel ginger, use a spoon instead of a peeler or knife. It's easy and fast.

4. Combine honey, sugar and salt in a bowl. Mix well.

5. Slice ginger and add into honey. Mix all ingredients together.

6. Put it in a jar. 

7. Before closing the lid, press the ginger into honey.

8. Keep the jar in room temperature for 3 days.

9. After 3 days, keep it in refrigerator. It's ready to use.
